AARMS-CMS Student Poster Session
​Organizers: Logan Pipes and Teresa Norris

Students are encouraged to present a poster on a topic of their choice. Presenters are asked to give a short (~3min) presentation to the judges and remain at their posters during judging to answer questions. The winners will be announced following the judging. Prizes are awarded at the banquet to the three best poster presenters, based on content, organization, and presentation.
At the poster session, you will be asked to give a short (3-5min) presentation of your poster to judges and answer any questions about your research. Each participant will receive a book of their choice from the CMS-Springer series. Three winners will be selected based on content, organization, and presentation. Each winner will receive two complimentary tickets to the banquet as well as $100 and a framed award certificate. Moreover, every participant will get the chance to chose one free book from the library of the CMS!

Student Development Workshop

The Student Committee of the CMS (StudC) is organizing a writing workshop during the upcoming 2025 CMS Summer Meeting in Quebec City. You are welcome to attend!
The Student Development Workshop aims to give students the tools they need to become better learners and researchers. The specific theme of the workshop is yet to be decided, so please check back later for more information.
The workshop is free for all meeting attendees.

The CMS Student Committee (STUDC) invites all students participating in the 2025 CMS Summer Meeting to its Student Social!
The Student Social event will be hosted during the summer meeting. Come meet your fellow students from across the country in a friendly environment and enjoy some complimentary appetizers. This event is free for all CMS Summer Meeting attendees.

The Canadian Mathematical Society Student Committee (CMS Studc) invites (undergraduate and graduate) students to showcase their research to a general mathematical audience at the Student Research Session during the 2025 CMS Summer Meeting.
How to Participate?
1. Ensure you are registered for the CMS Summer Meeting.
Not a CMS member? Check with your department about becoming a university-sponsored student member at a reduced fee.
2. Contact the session organizers with your abstract by the deadline. You should receive the notice of acceptance back. Late submissions may be considered if space allows.
